Service last night was great!!! If you missed it, you missed a great service. The human video was awesome and everyone did a great job. We wrapped up the “Identity” series and i really felt like it was a huge success. Never forget who you are in God and who He created you to be. Dont let anything or anyone stir you in the wrong direction. Hope to see you tomorrow for the Mateo Project:-)
We got a lot going on tonight!!! Be sure if you are going to R3, that one of your parents will be here for the meeting tonight. We will be hoping to start that meeting around 8:15 PM. Also, you dont want to miss the drama we will be presenting tonight. Its going to be awesome!!! We will also be wrapping up the “Your Identity” series tonight as well. So we hope to see you tonight at flipside!!!
The last three days have been so awesome!!! Service Wednesday night was awesome. We had about 75 students there!!! Our goal for the summer was to average about 70 to 80 during the summer weeks and we are doing just that. If we keep this up, we should be breaking 100 when school begins back in session. We had a couple of students give their life over to the Lord for the first time and that is always awesome. That never gets old.
Thrusday we went tubing down Styx River and we had a blast. Jeremy Isenburg and Talton Jackson are crazy!! You would of had to be there to know what i am talking about. We had a great crowd and we actually sold it out!!!
Today for Mateo Project we had a good time. We had about 14 students and we went out to Dumas Wesley Community Center and did some random jobs. It was fun and somewhat easy and it took about an hour and a half. Everyone worked really hard and didnt hear not one person complain. If you havent been coming, its been a real good time.
Look forward to seeing you Wednesday night. You dont want to miss it!!! We are going to debut the human video that we’ve been working on. Its going to be awesome!!!
Well, last week was another great week in flipside!!! Bring Your Own Chair Night was great. We had over 70 people, which is good during the summer. I totally forgot to give out a prize for the best chair. I am so sorry for that, i just get in the sharing mode and totally forget everything.
Mateo Project on Friday was awesome as well. We went out to Anchor Assembly and helped out there for a bit and then went out to Sonic’s for a drink. We had over 17 students and that we awesome as well.
Tomorrow night is another night at flipside. We are hitting on part 2 of “Your Identity,” it was really good last week and i am looking forward to tomorrow night as well. Lets keep this 70-80 attendance range for the summer and we can easily be breaking 100 when school starts. See you tomorrow night!!!
Tonight is “Bring Your Own Chair Night’”!!!! Bring whatever you want sit on and also try your best to bring a friend or just invite someone. Lets have a good crowd tonight and get over this summer blues slump. Dont forget about the Summer Challenge i issued a lot of you. Hope to see you tonight and dont forget if you plan on signing up for Tubin in Stix River to bring your money ($20) also its not too late to sign up for R3!!!
Last night was another great night in flipside!!! We had about ten students come to the altar to either recommitt their lives to God or just needing to make things right. Wesley did a great job just sharing his heart and his testimony!!! Nothing really earth shatterring but it was nothing but just being real. We need that more often in the church!!! So if you missed last night, it was a bad night to miss.

It was another great night at flipside. I really felt like we had a good service. There were a lot of regulars missing last night and you could tell. There were a lot of new faces though, which is always cool. We had over 60, with i know about 15 that were not in town last night due to vacation or not feeling well. Worship went over very well, especially the closing part of it. Nothing excites me more than seeing about 80% of flipsiders lifting their hands and worshipping God. The sermon went well as well. I am trying to work on the way i share every Wednesday and i showed some more media and it seemed like everyone really got it last night.
If you missed last night we closed the series on ”Refuel: How to Connect with God.” We hit on three things that if you apply them to your life, the way you to connect with God will totally go to another level. Here are the three steps:
Apply these things in your quiet time with God and i promised it will totally change everything. Always remember its not the amount of time but its the heart behind it. God is not going to judge the time but the heart. Another thing, when you spend time with Him its a lot easier for you to live for Him.
If you find yourself reading this, i hope to see you tonight!!! We are going to finish wrapping up the Refuel Series. We are going to hit on three things that you can do to connect with God easily. I promise you that if you apply these three steps it will help you connect with God on a conistent basis. So see you tonight and try your best to bring someone with you that hasnt been to flipside and doesnt already go to church somewhere. Its all about reaching out to the lost!!!
We had a great service. We had a little over 80!!! That is a great start to the summer. Usually some students ministries see a decline during the summer cause of all that goes on. Vacation, family outings, plain laziness, and whatever else you can think of. I am praying and believing that we are going to see growth this summer. If we maintain 70-80 during the summer that means we are growing!!!! So flipsiders lets keep it up. Invite your friends and they should have no excuse to come with you. Just remember to invite those that are not already attending a church somewhere. Its easy to invite someone that does but it is so much better to reach out to someone that doesn’t go anywhere and has yet to hear the powerful gospel of Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. So lets grow this summer and look forward to what God has in store for us this summer!!!
