Recap of last nights service!!!

Last night was amazing. God really did some great things last night!!! I felt like God laid a word on my heart yesterday early in the morning and i shared it last night with flipside. I woke up around 5:30am to use the you know bathroom and i went to lay back down in bed. All of sudden it was like i heard this voice saying, “Tell your students to stop playing games.” I thought about that for a second and then I said, “What do you mean your students?” Like who am i to ask that question, but i thought it was a question. Then i realized that if you are playing games with God then you do not belong to Him. So God really hit some people last night and several, i know at least half of flipside said they are tired of playing games. People were crying and just making things right. So are you playing games with God? Are you only serving Him when its convenient? Or when you feel like it? Think about it for a sec…… Make things right and stop playing games.

Last night we also had a good crowd. 78!!! Our goal was to average about 75 by May and 100 by the end of the year. I think we are headed in the right direction. We hit on “The Battle for your Mind” last night and i thought it went pretty well. We talked about how what we let into our minds can really influence your life. We also hit on how your friends can really play a huge role in influencing you also. So be aware of what you watch and listen to or even who you allow to influence you cause it could either take you somewhere in life or lead you to a dead end. A key thing in choosing friends is ask yourself, “Are they pulling me away or drawing me closer to God?” Just a little something to think about……

Pastor Leo, last night was amazing. Just that…
I prayed this morning that God would help me thought the day to be a strong christian. I didn’t cuss at all today, I was so proud, but the hardest part, was that every teacher today gave me a hard time, so it was like they knew my plan and they wanted me to mess up.
