flipside student ministries is a ministry based out of Praise Family Church, in Mobile, Alabama, serving students in 7th grade through college age.

flipside throws open the doors to a dynamic, in-your-face approach to student ministry. If you are tired of the usual, join a group of high school students from across the Mobile area for an unusual take on church.

Every Wednesday night at 7pm students converge on flipside to connect with friends, grow in their relationship with Christ and enjoy powerful worship. flipside shatters the stereotype about church, so come on out, relax and experience student life like never before.

Wednesday Night Services

Our Wednesday night services are created to celebrate life in a way that is fun for believers and welcoming to those who don’t normally attend church. We offer an experience that allows students to worship God in a way that makes it easy for them to invite their friends and teaching students how to grow in their own personal relationship with God.

Every 3 months we open up flipside from 7 till 10 PM. It is designed just for you to come and hang out with your friends. We sometimes show movies, have tournaments, play cards, shoot some hoops, shoot some pool, play arcade games, or just chill and talk. So be sure to check the events page and see when ones coming up.

The Grill

The Grill is our café area. Every time flipside opens its door we have this area where you can get your eat on. We offer a variety of snacks and drinks that are very affordable. On Wednesday nights we try to offer a meal deal that is cheaper than any where else you can go. We are known to serve chicken finger, wings, spaghetti, and other great combo meals.

Not only do we offer food but we also have other things you can do in The Grill. We have several arcade games, pool table, air hockey, and some classic game systems to get your game on.

The Core

The Core is a ministry that is really having a lot of success, reaching out to  those that have graduated high school and are in college (18-20 Somethings). We open up The Core every Wednesday night @ 7:45 PM for Bible study. If you would like to join flipside for a time of worship @ 7 PM, that is open to you. The Core is also open every  Sunday night at 6 PM for a time of just hanging out.

Monthly Events

We do our best to offer an event every month that you would like to be apart of. We have been known to schedule trips to New Orleans, Atlanta, the mountains in GA, water parks, midnight bowling trips, white water rafting, concerts, sporting events, and a ton of other events. We try to offer events that everyone can enjoy.
