I was looking for an answer of where in the Bible does is say that God will not give us more than we can handle. I was please to find what I had already know that that statement is not in the Bible. Two years ago, I lot my husband of 35 years to a heart attack with no warning. Last month, I lost my 29 year old son to a heart attack. I am constant quoted this verse.
Night before last before I drifted off to sleep, I came to realize that the 23rd Psalm does have a new meaning to me.

Yea, though I walk through the shadow of death ( Boy, am I there)
I will fear no evil For Thou art with me. (He has never left me)
His rod and his staff they comfor me. (His rod defends me from his enemies, his staff returns me to the fold if I stray)
You preparest a table before me in the midst of my enemies (I know that I have heaven waiting for me even though i am in the midst of the battle)
You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows I am His, he provides for everything I need)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life (He reward those who choose Him) and I shall dwell in the House of the Lord forever
(I trust His promise)
